Sushi Bars

Whether you're a seasoned sushi lover or completely new to the stuff, there's no better place to grab  a plate than in Japan. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch, or out a casual dinner, there's plenty of great places in Hirakata to find fresh sushi.

Kappa Sushi

Kappa Sushi, one of the most popular sushi retaurants in Hirakata, and a personal favourite of mine. Great for a quick lunch on your own or for group outings with your friends. Kappa Sushi serves up in the traditional "Kaiten Zuzhi" style, or revolving sushi plates with special orders arriving on the mini Shinkansen! Perfect too if you're on a budget as most plates are only ¥100. Kappa Sushi also offers other types of dishes other than just sushi, including desserts too! From the seminar houses, you can walk here in about 25 minutes, or 10-15 minutes by bike. Alternatively, if you're leaving from Campus, it will take you approximately 20 minutes to walk from the front gate, or 10 minutes by bike. Overall Price: $

Tips:

  • The matcha tea at the table is free, help yourself.

  • If you don't see the particular sushi or dish you're craving on the conveyor, order via the touch screen. There is no additional cost for this service and provides for great entertainment!
